The Physio-Control Semi-Recessed AED Cabinet with Alarm is a cabinet designed to house any of a variety of different Physio-Control defibrillators, including the LIFEPAK 500, LIFEPAK 1000, LIFEPAK CR Plus, and LIFEPAK Express defibrillators. The cabinet features a piercing audible alarm to act as a theft or vandalism deterrent and or to attract help in time of emergency.
The Cabinet has a 3 inch trim and is designed to be semi-recessed into the wall. It is constructed of coated steel and glass. The cabinet is non-locking to enable quick access in the event of an emergency. The cabinets have optional alarm features such as an additional strobe light that can be mounted in the wall above the cabinet. The advantage of the strobe light is that it acts as a theft deterrent and it also can help draw the attention of of potential rescuers in an emergency. It is especially useful to have a strobe light in very loud environments such as machine shops or some factories. That way, even if people aren't able to hear the alarm, they will be likely to still see it and be able to provide assistance.
The cabinets are constructed with durability and safety in mind. An AED Cabinet such as this is perfect for displaying the emergency device on the wall in an area where it can easily be seen. The glass is clearly labeled for clarity and awareness, so that it is immediately obvious what the cabinet and its contents are for.
