Securi-T hydrocolloid skin barrier strips and conformable seals are ostomy accessories used around the stoma to protect peristomal skin and help reduce leaks. The hydrocolloid material adheres to sensitive skin and is designed for people who cannot tolerate standard adhesive tapes.
These barriers, strips, and moldable seals fill in gaps caused by scars, folds, or irregular stoma shapes so the ostomy appliance lies flat. Precut strips support “picture framing” around the pouch, while 4 x 4 inch barrier squares can be cut to fit or used to level uneven areas. Conformable seals stretch and mold around the stoma opening and are compatible with most one-piece and two-piece ostomy systems.

How To Apply
