Description
These Bed Rail Protectors are designed for hospital and homecare beds that have a split side rail design. Manufactured by Posey, they reduce the risk of entrapment in the bed rails and help deter patients from attempting to exit their beds without assistance.
They are available in two types. The first type (#5705) is for older bed designs with open bar rails. The second type (#5705LS) is for newer bed designs with encapsulated rails. Both types of these Rail Protectors secure to the bed with hook and loop straps.
Rail Pads for encapsulated rail designs have more straps and longer straps to accommodate the design difference.
These Bed Rail Accessories include soft padding to help protect patients, and their vinyl coverings are easily cleaned with liquid detergents.
