The Posey 5750NC Defined Perimeter Mattress Covers by Posey create a raised perimeter around the bed that reminds patients where the mattress ends. The sensory reminder created by this promotes a safer bed environment for patients who are prone to exit their beds without assistance.
This mattress cover is available in two material types: regular nylon and breathable nylon, which is made especially for low air loss mattresses. Both nylon materials have waterproof coatings that make them easy to wipe clean with liquid disinfectants.
The mattress cover attaches with easy-to-use, quick-release buckles. The bariatric version of the mattress cover is made with high-density foam. See additional mattress specifications below.
