How to Set Up
After unboxing the set, pull the tabs out from the base unit and handset to activate the batteries. Then make sure the AC adapter is plugged into the base unit and plug the other end of the adapter into a power outlet. The adapter should be pushed into the outlet as far as it can go. Next, make sure the telephone line cord is connected to the base unit and connect the other end into a single-line telephone jack until the cord clicks. Finally, charge the handset on the base unit until "Fully Charged" appears on the display screen. Now the phone and its settings can be explored.
