Description
Who Uses the Aqua Relief Hot and Cold Therapy System? Individuals who want more than what a typical cold therapy unit offers to maximize post-surgery comfort and healing or to treat chronic pain.
Why They Love This Product: One system does it all, providing cold or hot water therapy anytime from the convenience of home. The temperature controls and timer make it safe and easy to set up no matter which modality is needed.
(ARS200) Aqua Relief TSystem Overview
Unlike most cold water therapy machines, the Pain Management Technologies Aqua Relief System offers dual hot-cold therapy modalities for at-home use. Cold therapy reduces inflammation, while hot therapy improves blood circulation and soothes muscles and joints.
The Aqua Relief System with dual heat therapy is easy to set up and use. It offers temperature control as well as continuous therapy or timed sessions with auto-shutoff. This cryotherapy unit is compatible with the Universal Knee/Elbow Wrap (TPKNEE) and the brands listed below. The Aqua Relief Therapy System has double-insulated tubing, maintaining cold temperatures longer and giving the treatment area maximum 360-degree contact.

Why Two Therapies?
- Cold Therapy/Cryotherapy restricts blood flow with cold water to reduce inflammation. Cold therapy is often used following surgery or injury in order to prevent further damage.1 Cold water therapy also helps reduce pain by numbing the soft tissue.
- Hot Therapy/Thermotherapy provides heat to relax joints, muscles, and soft tissue. Heat also increases muscle flexibility and improves movement in stiff joints. Heat therapy is applied after cold therapy to improve blood circulation and reduce edema swelling. The increased blood flow oxygenates the injured tissues to support healing. 2
Customizable Settings
- Temperature Control: Choose between hot and cold water therapy with a temperature range from 32° to 110° Fahrenheit, allowing each user to set what feels comfortable.
