Orfilight Overview
Designed to be more comfortable and lighter than traditional orthosis products, Orfilight NS Sheets are lightweight, nonstick splinting materials that mold to the patient. The low-temperature thermoplastic material is activated in heated water and can be remolded at any time. It's stretchable with moderate elasticity, making it easy for the product to shape to different body anatomy and provide patients with comfortable wear. It weighs 25 to 30% less than other splinting materials. It has a soft velvet feel that's gentle on the skin, with a nonstick coating that allows the orthosis to be paired with bandages or liners.
