MedLine Optifoam Basic Hydrophilic Polyurethane Foam Dressings are non-adhesive wound dressings designed to absorb exudate. These foam dressings are ideal for providing a moist wound environment. MedLine MSC1133F is soft and highly cushioning, making it gentle on bony prominences and the wound site. This dressing is available in regular and fenestrated options, which means it is designed with a slit that allows it to easily conform around tube sites. Optifoam Basic Wound Dressing can be used as a primary or secondary dressing. It is made of absorbent foam in 3 x 3 and 4 x 5 inches and is ideal for moderate to heavily exudate wounds. This dressing can be worn for up to 7 days. MedLine also offers Optifoam Gentle Border Adhesive Dressing for patients with sensitive or fragile skin.
