Optifoam Antimicrobial AG Silver Adhesive Dressing

Medline MSC9604 Optifoam Antimicrobial AG Silver Adhesive Dressing is a great bandage for wounds with intact periwound skin and offers protection to keep the area clean, dry and bacteria free. Ionic Silver provides a microbial barrier to keep germs and other bacteria from contaminating the wound bed. The highly absorbent material helps to heal the wound faster than a standard bandage and contains silver for better wound penetration. Because Optifoam is a silver dressing, it is able to create an entire bed over the wound, keeping it contained while preventing further bleeding or contamination.

The bandage is conformable to the skin's surface, giving patients the opportunity to move around without compromising the adhesive. The outer layer is both non-staining and has a water proof outer layer to prevent moisture from coming in. The Silver Adhesive may be left on the wound for up to seven days, depending on condition, adding a level of durability to the dressing.
