It's ideal for consumers and patients in need of complete or supplemental nutrition support, high caloric requirements, increased energy requirements, severe fluid restriction and/or need of tube feeding. It answers the challenges of nutritional requirements, but also diet restrictions being suitable for lactose intolerance, gluten-free and low-residue. It has 100 percent of the recommended daily intake of 20 key vitamins and minerals, plus taurine, carnitine, ultra-trace minerals and a fat source of 50 percent MCT (a fatty acid that helps metabolism). The casein-soy protein blend helps to support lean body mass. Nutren 2.0 can be consumed orally with carton option or from UltraPak tube feeding with SpikeRight® PLUS port. The SpikeRight PLUS design is an enteral-specific port for closed tube-feeding containers to reduce the risk of IV misconnection.
