Treatment times are shorter and more medication is going to the lungs instead of escaping into the environment.

The AeroEclipse® II Breath Actuated Nebulizer works with a compressor to convert liquid medication into an aerosol so it can be inhaled. The AeroEclipse is a breath actuated nebulizer and only produces aerosol during inhalation. Any other time, such as exhalation or when the user is taking a break from treatment, the device does not produce any aerosol. AeroEclipse-patented AeroControl System Regulator senses even the smallest of inhalations to start the aerosol process. The AeroEclipse can also be used as a traditional continuous-flow nebulizer.

The AeroEclipse II Nebulizer produces aerosol on every patient inhalation. The breath-actuated mode prevents the aerosolized medication from escaping into the environment, meaning more medicine ends up in the lungs where it belongs. In addition, the AeroEclipse has a one-way exhalation valve that aids to maximize the delivery of medication. With the AeroEclipse II Nebulizer, treatment times are shorter and less medication is wasted. Breath actuation also prevents others from secondhand aerosol inhalation, which may cause complications or discomfort.

Deeper and longer breaths assist with respiratory therapy and aids in aerosolized medication circulate in the lungs for longer. The AeroEclipse II has a green feedback button on its top that shows users when they have the correct technique. The button goes down during inhalation and up during exhalation and aids in the users control their breaths during treatment for best results.
