Description
The Drive Medical Model 177 Irrigation Syringe is a hand-held wound irrigation device that produces a steady flow of a cleansing solution onto the open wound. It is the most effective method of wound cleansing and features a small flexible tube which can reach deep into the body cavity without causing trauma to the patient. This irrigation syringe is used in several E.N.T. (ear, nose, and throat) irrigation procedures by medical doctors, research laboratories, and veterinarians.
With the Drive Model 177 Irrigation Syringe you can control the flow of medication solution by placing your finger over the small opening located in the head of the device. To reach the maximum flow of medication cover this opening completely with your finger. In the same way, to reduce the flow simply remove your finger from the opening. The device will stop dispensing the solution if the flow is less than twenty PSI, and can be operated by the No 630 Bleeder-Type cut-off assembly or a No 1 Bulb.
