Yes. In order to effectively kill most germs, the product needs to stand on the surface before it is wiped. To sanitize a hard surface, the product should stand for at least 10 seconds. To disinfect, the spray needs to stand for one minute to kill certain bacteria and 5 minutes to kill the full range of bacteria, viruses, and fungi. To form a 24-hour bacteria shield, the product must air dry and cannot be wiped down.
