Mepitel Ag Wound Contact Layer Dressing - 391090

Mepitel Ag is a soft silicone wound contact layer built on a transparent polyamide net with a Safetac adhesive layer for gentle adhesion to surrounding skin. Its open mesh design is intended to minimize disruption to the wound surface during dressing changes while remaining conformable on body contours.

Mepitel Ag Dressing (Mepitel 391090) is designed to allow exudate to pass vertically into a secondary dressing so the outer absorbent layer can be changed without lifting the contact layer. It maintains structural integrity during wear and includes silver sulphate with a cellulose compound on both sides of the contact layer to support antimicrobial function on the dressing, and it can be used under compression bandaging.
