The gelling fiber core, made of high-absorption polymer, helps manage high exudate volume by absorbing and retaining up to 11 times its weight. The hydrophilic wound contact layer and silicone adhesive border prevent the dressing from sticking to the wound site, meaning it can be removed without damaging delicate, healing skin.

The MedVance Border Dressing uses a distribution layer to spread fluid across the pad for even absorption and retention. The semi-occlusive backing layer helps manage fluid and microbial strike-through, keeping surrounding areas clean and dry. This wound dressing stays leakproof, retaining exudate even when pressure is applied.
