This stoma cover is easy to put on and comfortable to wear. Manufactured by MedMart, the StomaShield is made of special filtering material made of non allergenic, nontoxic, reticulated, flexible polyester urethane foam. The Stoma Shield comes with a neck band that fastens with Velcro® instead of tie-backs. The fastener is located in the front where it is easy to access for the patient and it goes on and off in seconds. It is also easy to adjust the amount of tension the patient wants on the neck band to maintain comfort. The StomaShield Stoma Cover is individually packaged in a convenient, heat-sealed bag.
