MedLine NON25412 Woven 4 x 4 Inch Gauze Sponges are a 12-ply non-sterile gauze sponge that's a perfect replacement packing gauze for wounds that don't require a sterile environment. Each sponge is put together using a strict process that assures clean and debris-free gauze to prevent creases or other damage within the packaging. Folded edges prevent unraveling and makes it easier to handle when applying to a wound bed. The heavy ply of the gauze also makes it easier to hold a heavy amount of exudate without having to worry about changing bandages often, saving you money over time.
The woven sponges measure four inches in length and width to give the user 16 square inches of space to work with. To avoid allergic reactions the sponges are not made with rubber latex.
