SpandaGrip Tubular Elastic Support Bandage is a tubular gauze made with elastic and serves as a support bandage for primary and secondary dressings. The elastic bandage has the ability to stretch over a limb rather than be placed on top or around the applied area. This added elasticity allows for the creation of localized pressure and works great on either arms, legs, wrists or ankles. With the right amount of pressure applied, caretakers can reduce blood flow to the area and restrict any swelling that could occur. This type of compression therapy is also useful for fractures with swelling.
The Medi Tech Support Bandage is made with a cotton fabric covering the elastic threads that help to extend and seal around the limb. Each box is available with one 11 yard (33 feet) roll, enough to use for multiple wrappings or one large wrapping. The support bandage is available for use on the hands, arms, ankles, knees and thighs. Available widths include 1.5, 2, 2.5, 2.75, 3, 3.5 and 4 inches. To avoid allergic reactions this product is not made with any natural rubber latex. Pair with CURAD Non-Stick Pads with Adhesive Tabs for additional wound care needs.
