With a digital variable speed control, users can set speeds from 500 RPM to 4,000 RPM. The real-time digital display shows both speed (RPM) and G-Force (RCF). An electronic timer, ranging from 1 minute to 99 minutes and 59 seconds, includes a beep signal to indicate the end of a run. The centrifuge also remembers the last run's time and speed settings for repetitive protocols.
Safety features include a zero RPM lid latch protection, ensuring the lid cannot be opened until the unit stops spinning. The centrifuge will not operate unless the lid is securely closed. Suction cup synthetic feet provide stable bench top operation, and a power switch with an indicator light shows when the unit is on. The power on/off switch is conveniently located on the back of the unit. This centrifuge is maintenance-free, thanks to its brushless DC motor, and it is not made with natural rubber latex.
