McKesson 16-4242 4 x 4 Inch Gauze Sponges are single-use cotton gauze sponges specifically made for dressing, cleaning, prepping, or packing wounds and wound beds. These sterile sponges are made with 100 percent cotton to reduce linting in or around the area and can lift a heavy amount of exudate thanks to their 12-ply thickness. The sponges are easily available and accessible thanks to their easy-to-open peelable pouch. For added convenience, there are two pieces of gauze per pack, and they come in white for better visibility.
Each piece is 16 square inches in size and is square-shaped. To avoid any allergic reactions, the gauze is not made with any latex.
