Micro-Preemie Overview
The Nasco Life/form Micro-Preemie Simulator is a 25-week preterm infant used in simulation training for the Neonatal Resuscitation Program course. It provides a realistic anatomical model for emergency response teams, nursing, and medical school students.
The preemie simulator has a soft and realistic skin texture available in light or dark skin tones for increased realism. The built-in features address common scenarios associated with an infant having an extremely low birth weight. It provides multiple medical interventions and objectives covered in the Neonatal Resuscitation Program's course curriculum, including stoma care, airway, breathing and ventilation, IV administration, and more.
