The top layer is a soft, non-woven material that allows moisture to transpire. The next layer is a horizontal wicking layer that moves the exudate evenly to the third layer, the super-absorbent core. This design gives the dressing a dry appearance and touch. This exudate management prevents maceration for faster wound healing. Lastly, the final bottom layer is a heat-sealed layer that prevents leakage for clean and comfortable wound care.
KerraMax Care Non-Adhesive wound dressing works well as a primary dressing and under moderate pressure when wrapping a limb with a secondary dressing. The dressing can be stacked to increase absorption at the beginning.
