The Invacare microAIR MA600 Alternating Pressure Low Air Loss Mattress offers a 3-in-1 Alternating Pressure System with Low Air Loss to aid in the prevention and treatment of pressure injuries. The MA600 is appropriate for stage I - IV pressure ulcers. The alternating 3-in-1 system inflates and deflates cells at a ratio of 3:1. The alternating pressure system assures that 2/3 of the user's body will be supported at all times while the remaining 1/3 experiences active pressure relief. The MA600 offers eight different comfort settings. Cycle periods can be set to five, ten, fifteen, or twenty minutes intervals. The nylon cover of the MA600 is highly vapor permeable which helps to maintain healthy moisture levels. A cable management system is integrated into the cover to help keep cords off the ground and prevent trip hazards. The non-slip base cover helps reduce shear and friction during bed articulation. The cells are all backed with soft nylon urethane that is easy to clean and also helps to prevent bacterial growth. The Max Inflate Mode allows for rapid, firm inflation in just seconds for easier patient transfer and for nursing procedures.

The microAIR MA600 by Invacare's HeelSense technology adjusts air pressure specifically in the lower section of the mattress to alleviate pressure in the vulnerable heel area.

The Invacare microAIR features both audio and visual alarms alert the user to low pressure. Cell in cell design that prevents the patient from bottoming out in the event of air pressure loss, such as from a power outage.
