Interlink Needleless IV Access System consists of three components: Blunt Plastic Cannula, Twinpak™ Cannula, and Interlink Lever Lock Cannula.

Becton Dickinson Blunt Plastic Cannula is a universal cannula and can be used with all types of split-septum IV injection sites and vials designed for needleless access. Blunt Plastic Cannula provides simplified access to the Interlink injection site with smoother insertion, reduced penetration force, and greater fluid dispersion. Designed for improved performance, the Blunt Plastic Cannula enhances the Interlink IV Access System. A study conducted by Becton Dickinson demonstrates the new Blunt Plastic Cannula flushes pre-slit injection sites more effectively than competitive cannula. Flushing effectiveness was assessed by measuring removal of red blood cells from the injection sites.
Twinpak Dual Cannula is also a universal IV access device, offering two methods of performance over traditional stand-alone devices.
