The U-Step II Walking Stabilizer is a specialized walker designed for greater stability for users with neurological conditions, Multiple Sclerosis, or Parkinson's. The patented U-shaped base provides ultra-stability to support the user, prevent falling, and promote better posture. It comes with adjustable-height handlebars or forearm platforms, depending on the model selected.
A cushioned seat offers a spot for users to sit and relax, and the spring-loaded front caster system provides stability on uneven terrain. The reverse braking system is controlled by handbrakes, which engage the brakes to go and release them to stop. This gives the user a greater sense of control and prevents the walker from accidentally rolling away, allowing the U-Step to support the user as they transition between sitting and standing. Users can even make tension control adjustments to change the wheel rolling speed if they feel the U-Step II Walker rolls faster than they'd like.
The U-Step 2 Walking Stabilizer comes in three different styles: Press Down, Standard, and Platform, available in sizes to fit the user's height. An optional cueing module is available in either a green or red laser to assist with Parkinson's freezing.
Optional Laser & Sound Cueing Module for Parkinson's
The Cue is clinically proven to reduce freezing and falling caused by Parkinson's. When turned on, it projects a bright laser (available in red or green) that shines on the ground for the user to follow, helping the user to maintain their walking pace. It even comes with an audio feature that can be turned on and off so the user can step in time to the beat.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Is the U-Step only intended for Parkinson’s patients?
Those with MS, stroke, Ataxia, or PSP, and anyone who requires the stability of a walker can use the U-Step.
The two rear wheels are not level with the other wheels. Is that normal?
This is normal so that the rear wheels stabilize the user when walking on a ramp or another uneven surface without hindering progress.
What keeps the U-Step from rolling away?
Two features prevent unwanted rolling. The handbrakes, which are “pull-to-go,” and the friction mechanism that regulates the two large wheels at the base.
