Manufacturer Description:
Hydrophilic Foam Dressing is a non-adhesive type of wound dressing that is designed to manage moderate to heavily exuding wounds. It is made of a soft and absorbent foam material that can handle large amounts of wound exudate, while maintaining a moist wound environment for optimal healing. The dressing does not have any adhesive layer, which makes it a good option for patients with sensitive or fragile skin. Hydrophilic Foam Dressing can be cut to the shape of the wound and easily secured in place with a secondary dressing or bandage. It is an ideal choice for wounds such as pressure ulcers, surgical wounds, and traumatic wounds.
Hydrophilic Foam Dressing provides reliable protection and cushioning for the wound while minimizing pain and discomfort for the patient.
Indications
A sterile primary dressing designed for a wide range of moderate to highly exuding wounds such as leg and foot ulcers, pressure ulcers and traumatic wounds, can be used for second degree burns, donor sites, postoperative wounds and skin abrasions.
