Hydrofilm is a sterile, transparent polyurethane film dressing designed for postoperative wound care. It provides a thin, waterproof protective barrier while allowing the wound area or underlying primary dressing to remain visible.

Hydrofilm is a transparent film-only dressing. It has no absorbent wound pad and should not be used as independent exudate management for moderately or heavily draining wounds. The waterproof, transparent polyurethane film combines external protection with visibility of the covered area.

Hydrofilm Clear Film Dressing may serve as a secondary cover or fixation layer over a compatible primary dressing. Users should select a size that covers the wound or primary dressing while leaving enough film to adhere to surrounding skin.
