The Teleflex Medical Mouthpiece Adapter is a mouthpiece that connects to a multitude of different devices that require the use of a mouthpiece. Since the device is of universal type, you can use the mouthpiece adapter with almost any device on the market; granted it not being a specialized design from the manufacturer.
The Universal Mouthpiece (Teleflex 1565) is made of a disposable material that allows it to be discarded in traditional garbage bins and does not require specialized disposal containers such as sharps bins. The mouthpiece connector can be used at home with your own device or at medical facilities needing to provide a repository therapy session to their patients. The hospital grade design keeps an outward and free-flowing mist of the medication being supplied. The adapter has a 15-milliliter inner diameter and a 22-milliliter outer diameter. The universal mouthpiece can be used along with peak flow meters such as the Omron Adult-Pediatric Peak Air Peak Flow Meter device.
The Teleflex 15 mm (I.D.) X 22 mm (O.D.) Disposable Mouthpiece is made of a polyethylene material that is generally safe for use with most people without containing harmful chemicals such as BPA's which if in constant contact with, have been known to cause some health issues. As these mouthpieces are going to be used orally, the material from which they are made of were selected carefully to reduce these potential risks.

Product Questionscould this be used for as a disposable mouthpiece for a common incentive spirometer?Question by: Nathaniel Gob on Jun 17, 2019 4:28:00 AMIt would depend on the spirometer used. The mouthpiece has a universal design so as long as the spirometer does not require a specialized fit, they should be compatible.Answer by: Jessica Smith (Admin) on Jun 17, 2019 3:33:00 PM
