Avanos Homepump Eclipse (formerly known as Halyard Homepump Eclipse) is a portable IV Infusion Pump system designed for ambulatory patients to use at home. It is a non-electric pump that infuses prescribed medication and fluids intravenously through a central or peripheral catheter. The Avanos Homepump Eclipse Elastomeric Pump features a pre-set flow rate to deliver medication or fluid every 30 minutes for up to five hours. This pre-set flow rate simplifies the procedure, allowing patients the comfort and convenience of infusion therapy at home. Its elastomeric membrane is patented, tested for dependability, and trusted for performance. The patient knows the infusion is complete when the elastomeric membrane is no longer expanded.
The Homepump Eclipse is for single-patient use, disposable, and must not be cleaned and reused. It comes in three sizes: 50 mL, 100 mL, and 250 mL, each denoted by color.
