The digital scale has a tare memory feature, saving time while maintaining accuracy. The large, easy-to-read LCD screen displays weight in either standard or metric units. The 553KL Digital Pediatric Scale can also be used with the scale cart for easy mobility.

It accommodates up to 44 pounds with ½-ounce graduations. The opposite long edge of the scale has a raised lip providing additional safety for infants. The scale has a motion detection feature that allows an accurate weight to be recorded even if the infant is moving while on the scale.
