The EZ-BATHE® Inflatable Tub sets up on top of standard or hospital beds. With interior dimensions of 71 x 22 inches, it can accommodate a person up to 6 feet, 2 inches tall. This bathing product meets the needs of nonambulatory patients. Depending on the user’s abilities, they can position themselves or be rolled onto the deflated basin. The bath inflates using the included vacuum pump. The pillow is adjustable to support the neck and to help caregivers find the best angle for washing and rinsing the hair. Adapter Fits Most Faucets
The EZ-BATHE® Inflatable Bathtub includes a faucet adapter to attach the hand-held shower to most faucets. The kit includes a hardware bag to match the faucet’s aerator. The instruction manual provides steps for determining whether the existing faucet’s threads are male or female threads to locate the appropriate thread adapters in the hardware bag. Most adapters are hand-tightened without the need for tools, but pliers may be used. Once the adapter is connected, the shower hose is simple to connect and disconnect at bath time.
The basin is made of a heavy-duty PVC vinyl material that contains an antimicrobial agent to resist mold. The PVC resists punctures and accidental popping. A patch kit is included for basin or pillow puncture repair.
