Easy Temperature Taking
The Exergen Scanner Temporal Thermometer measures body temperature by running the thermometer over the temporal artery in the forehead. The thermometer scans the skin approximately 1,000 times a second and provides the most accurate reading. Each reading takes approximately four seconds and is completely painless. The SmartGlow technology in the thermometer can store up to eight readings for comparison over time.
Safe for All Ages
The Exergen Temporal Thermometer works by scanning the blood flow through the temporal artery in the forehead. Because of this, it is safe to be used on anyone of any age, including small children and newborns. There is no irritation during the scan.
