How to Prepare Enfamil 24
- Thoroughly wash your hands with warm water and soap before handling the bottle or bottle nipple (bottle nipple is not included).
- Gather the nipple and a bottle of Enfamil.
- For the safety of your infant, examine the bottle of Enfamil to ensure that it is not damaged. Make sure the tamper seal is not broken.
- Shake the bottle of formula well before opening.
- Attach the nipple to the formula bottle.

Contraindications
Enfamil contains milk and soy. Do not give Enfamil to children who are lactose intolerant or who are allergic to soy. Note: Vitality Medical also offers Enfamil ProSobee for infants with lactose intolerance or sensitive stomachs.
Warning
- Never warm baby formula in the microwave. Microwaved formula may cause severe burns.
- Enfamil can spoil quickly once the bottle is open. Always ensure that the bottle is fresh and the tamper seal is not broken before feeding to your infant.
- Once you have opened a bottle of Enfamil, it must be used immediately or immediately refrigerated with the cap on. Use the bottle within 48 hours if it has been refrigerated.
- Open bottles should be used within an hour after feeding begins. If the child does not finish the bottle within an hour, discard it.
- Never freeze Enfamil ready-to-use formula.
- Check the expiration date on each bottle before feeding your child. This can be found on the side of the bottle. If the formula has expired, discard it.
Storage Guidelines
- Before Enfamil is opened, storage at room temperature is recommended.
- Once a bottle is prepared, use the bottle or refrigerate it at a temperature between 35 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit for up to 48 hours.
