Some of the popular electrical stimulation modalities include Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS), Interferential Therapy (IFT), Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES), Faradic Stimulation, Iontophoresis, and Microcurrent Therapy (MCT). TENS Therapy is often used at home by patients after training from their physician.
