The 16-inch squared size offers plenty of coverage if used as a dressing and is thick enough to hold exudate for fewer changes over time. The material is non-woven, is individually wrapped for sterility and comes in a white color for easier visibility.

The sponge is best used for either wound coverage, prepping surgical areas or cleaning around a wound.
