Lightweight with Self-Contained Motor
The Delta 1000 Ultra Light Plus Full-Electric Bed by Drive Medical is constructed with a foot section that's 50 percent lighter than conventional foot sections on the market. This makes it easy to deliver, set up, and reposition.
As a full-electric bed, the foot and head sections are elevated, and the overall bed height is raised and lowered. The motor is lightweight and UL-approved for safety. Since it is self-contained, it will buffer the motor's noise during operation. Drive Medical redesigned the hand pendant with larger, easy-to-read control buttons. The bed height is adjustable; remove the wheels to achieve a fixed position, even with the patient in the bed. In case of a power outage, the 9-volt battery backup provides enough power to perform up to nine adjustments. Durable Construction

The frame and spring deck are zinc-coated to add security and corrosion resistance. The headboard and footboard are break-resistant with a polished chestnut finish is scratch-resistant. Another benefit is the wood grain finish and taller headboard, which blends well with home decor.
The Drive Delta Ultra Light 1000 Bed's components are break and scratch-resistant. The bed's channel frame is lightweight yet offers exceptional sturdiness to support up to a 450-pound weight capacity.
