This Hydration Response Technology is a unique combination of mechanically modified cellulose fibers and gelling agents contained in a hypoallergenic polypropylene cover. As wound exudate is absorbed, the cellulose fibers and gelling agents work together to regulate the moist wound environment. The sachet locks in bacteria with no risk of breaking. The cellulose fibers have adequate space to swell as moisture is absorbed and turned into gel.
Cutimed® Sorbact® Sachet S Dressing is available in a box of 10 sterile dressings. It measures 12 x 8 inches and comes ready-to-use for quick application as a primary dressing. The Cutimed Sorbact® dressing family also includes a built-in adhesive like the Cutimed® Sorbact® Sachet Border Dressings.
