Covidien 441217 Dermacea 4 x 4 Inch Gauze Sponge 8 Ply by Covidien, offers 8-ply thickness for basic applications such as cleaning medical instruments. The non-sterile gauze sponges offer an economical option and are part of the Dermacea™ value line, formerly Kendall/Curity. The gauze isn't packaged sterile but it's made of 100 percent cotton, a hypoallergenic material. When used in wound care, it won't irritate the skin. It's also latex-free to prevent allergic reactions. The gauze comes in a 4 x 4 inch squares and comes with two in a pack. Choose from a box with 200 sponges or a case of 4000 sponges for use in medical clinics.
