Covidien 441209 Dermacea USP Type VII 4 x 4 Inch Gauze Sponges 12 Ply is a super-thick gauze sponge that meets USP Type VII requirements. Made with 100 percent woven cotton, the sponge is highly absorbent in order to offer a better overall performance in high-stress environments such as a clinic. The gauze can be used for any number of applications including general dermal coverage and care, as a dressing or for preparation of packing wounds. This specific sponge is four inches in length, allowing for more skin coverage for a better healing experience. Measured at 12 ply, it's thick enough to take care of deep exudating wounds, which is perfect for many wound types. Each bag comes with 200 individually packaged pieces for sterility.
