The Covidien 2187 Curity™ 2 x 2 Inch Gauze Sponge, 8 Ply exceeds USP type VII gauze requirements that ensure the highest quality of gauze with low contamination. The gauze sponges are made from 100 percent ring spun yard that's been woven to offer maximum absorbency and vertical wicking performance. These characteristics make it ideal for a variety of applications such as wound prepping and debriding or as a wound dressing to soak up wound exudate.
