Cosmopor Transparent is a 2 x 2.8-inch sterile adhesive film dressing with an absorbent island wound pad for postoperative or minor wounds with limited exudate. The transparent polyurethane film backing is waterproof to help protect the wound from external moisture.
The Cosmopor Transparent Dressing allows visibility under the adhesive border area to allow for monitoring of the skin surrounding the wound. The wound pad is not transparent.
This sterile, small surgical wound dressing protects against bacterial penetration while staying comfortable to wear.
