The Drive 15571 Competitor II Semi-Electric Bed comes with four caster wheels to move as needed. A hand pendant adjusts the legrest and back support by pushing a button. This hand pendant glows in the dark, making it easy to find at night and adjust the buttons. A lockout feature is also provided to prevent accidental adjustments. During blackout conditions when no electricity is available, a 9-volt battery can provide emergency power to lower the head and foot sections. The bed's height may be adjusted with a detachable hand crank. This crank uses a positive-fit hexagonal connection for easy connection or disconnection.
Competitor Bed II is constructed with a slat deck that is strong and durable and prevents mattress sag. The bed can support up to 450 pounds, including the patient and all accessories.
