The coude olive tip is curved, allowing easier navigation around an enlarged prostate, scar tissue, or strictures, while the hydrophilic coating activates with water to aid insertion.
Self-Cath Plus catheters feature a blue Guide Stripe to help monitor coudé tip orientation during insertion. This 16-inch catheter comes in multiple French sizes and is not made with natural rubber latex, DEHP, or other phthalates.
