The Biatain Ag Foam Dressing by Coloplast is an optimal dressing for exuding wounds. It is made from unique 3D foam, which is soft, flexible and absorbent. It is used for a wide range of wounds with delayed healing due to bacteria, such as ulcers (leg, pressure, diabetic), second-degree burns, skin abrasions, postoperative wounds and donor sites. It is a soft and comfortable silver foam dressing, which ensures a homogenous distribution of ions while simultaneously providing a constant antimicrobial effect. Because of it's silver properties it can be worn up to 7 days for maximum healing. It is effective on all bacteria commonly found in infected non-healing wounds.
