The Biatain Ag Foam Dressing was created for use in patients with medium to highly exuding ulcers, second-degree burns, skin abrasions, pressure sores and post operative wounds. The unique 3D foam material helps heal wounds with significant tissue loss. It has a patented silver complex that ensures a continuous release of silver ions, which provides homogenous distribution and has a constant antimicrobial effect.
The structure is flexible, comfortable and conforms closely to the wound bed. It can also be used in combination with compression therapy and garments, such as Compression Socks and Tights.
