Biatain® Silicone Lite 33446 by Coloplast is an ultra flexible dressing with a low profile to bend well at the knee, foot and elbow. The 5 x 5 inch square dressing uses a three-dimensional polymer foam pad to soak up exudate in low exuding wounds. The 3-D foam adds patient comfort by contouring against the ulcer, abrasion or donor site. As exudate is absorbed into the foam, it balances moisture to create an optimal healing environment. The waterproof outer film also prevents moisture and bacteria from entering while allowing inside moisture vapor to release for optimal healing conditions.

Biatain® Silicone Lite is available individually or a box of 10. It has a 3-piece film to uncover sections of the dressing to not disturb the silicone adhesive during application which reduces waste. The silicone adhesive secures well to the skin with minimal pain upon its removal. Fewer dressing changes are an added benefit since the dressing can remain on the wound for up to seven days.
