The Drive Medical Clinical Care Geri Chair Recliner is a versatile everyday Geri Chair which features multiple position settings and can easily be shifted into four different positions for maximum patient comfort. The four positions include upright, TV, full recline and Trendelenburg (where the feet are above the heart). Both, the reclining and the Trendelenburg positions are controlled by a gas cylinder that can only be operated by an attendant using a convenient release handle that can be operated from either side of the recliner. This Clinical Care Geri Reclining Chair comes complete with four five-inch caster wheels which allow caretakers and medical professionals to push the patient to the desired location with little effort using the large handle located on the back of the chair to steer the patient. To prevent the individual from rolling away it is also equipped with two brake locks to keep the chair in place when needed.
The Drive Medical D577 Series Clinical Care Geri Chair Recliner comes complete with side trays on each armrest ideal for setting up procedural supplies needed to administer blood draws, dialysis, and respiratory/cardiac care. For added comfort, there is also a built-in headrest and wide, comfortable, padded armrests that are positioned at specific angles to provide support in all four positions. For easy cleaning and maintenance, it also has removable side panels and a durable steel frame. You can also choose from three colors: Blue Ridge, Jade, and Rosewood.
