SorbaView 2000 Adhesive Dressing Overview
The SorbaView 2000 Dressing is an adhesive window dressing that holds catheters securely in place. The dressing's clear window allows for continuous site visibility. Its fabric border has a high Moisture Vapor Transmission Rate, allowing the site to stay dry. The occlusive barrier protects against viruses, bacteria, and other microbes. It's easy to apply and remove with a nonirritating, noncytotoxic, and nonsensitizing adhesive. This transparent film dressing stays in place for long wear times of up to seven days.
Some models, such as SV30NXT, feature a notch and HubGuard, which enhances catheter stabilization. The HubGuard is an adhesive-backed foam anchor that is gentle on the skin and provides comfort from catheter hubs.
