Biologistex 0711GZR Celox Gauze Rolls 3 in x 5 ft are designed to clot blood fast. It can clot hypothermic, or cold, blood in as little as 25 seconds. This quick clotting is possible due to the Celox granules embedded onto the gauze. When the granules come in contact with the blood they grow and become a gel to clot the wound. This clotting is effective enough that it is used in military, medical and emergency services.
Another feature is how easy it is to remove any residue. It easily washes away with water or saline solution without debridement. Also, if this roll is larger than you need, you can get the Celox Granules by themselves to pack into smaller wounds.
