- Classified as a level 4 device under the new AAMI guidelines for barrier performance, Tiburon surgical drapes provide the highest level of protection available in a surgical drape.
- Beyond the AAMI standard, Tiburon fabric also passes the even more stringent industry test for viral penetration ASTM F1671.
- According the AORN's 2003 Standards, Recommended Practices, and Guidelines, surgical drapes should be as lint free as possible, Tiburon® fabric is lower linting than other currently available surgical drape fabrics when compared in laboratory testing.
